What material is the jewelry made of?

Our jewelry is made from brass, stainless steel, or 925 sterling silver, which is then plated with either 18K yellow gold or rhodium.

• Brass – A durable metal composed of copper and zinc. It has a natural gold tone, making it an excellent choice for gold-colored jewelry.

• 925 Sterling Silver – Composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper), making it more durable while maintaining its silver shine.

• Stainless Steel – An iron-based alloy containing at least 10.5% chromium, which provides durability and resistance to rust and corrosion.



Are they real diamonds?

We use cubic zirconia and moissanite as diamond alternatives.

• Cubic Zirconia – A synthetic gemstone made from zirconium dioxide. It closely resembles a diamond in appearance but is more affordable.

• Moissanite – A lab-created gemstone composed of silicon carbide (SiC). It scores 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale (diamonds score 10), making it highly durable and scratch-resistant. Jewelry featuring moissanite will pass a diamond tester and comes with a GRA certificate.

Can I wear the jewelry in the shower or while swimming?

Yes, you can, but we do not recommend it. Exposure to water, soaps, and chemicals can cause the plating to fade faster. To extend the longevity of your jewelry, refer to our care guide. We do not recommend swimming with brass materials.

 


 


Does the jewelry tarnish?

The sterling silver and stainless steel jewelry can not tarnish it will not leave a green mark on the skin, but the layer of plating on it may fade over time.We also have a small collection made of brass material, which can rust over time. Therefore, carefully read the description of the product you order to be sure of what material it is made of.


Is the jewelry nickel & lead free?

Yes! All our jewelry is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and lead-free. However, if you have allergies to specific metals, please check the material details before purchasing.

 

What payment options do you accept

We accept PayPal, iDEAL, SOFORT, Klarna and credit card payments.


Can I cancel or change my order?

Once an order is placed, it is final. However, if it has not been processed yet, you may cancel or change it within one hour by contacting us via WhatsApp or email info@janedijewels.com

 

How long does shipping take?

• In-stock orders: Dispatched within 1–3 business days.

• Personalized orders: As these pieces are individually handcrafted and made to order, they require additional time to produce. The processing period is 3–5 business days, with an estimated creation timeline of 4–6 weeks.

• Combined orders: If your order includes both in-stock and personalized items, all products will be dispatched together once the personalized item has been completed.

A shipping confirmation email will be sent to you once your order has been dispatched.



Why is my package delivered at a parcel point?

To ensure sustainability and prevent misdelivery, most packages are delivered to a parcel pickup point. Please ensure that your email address is correct so you receive the QR code needed for collection.


Can I return or exchange my items?

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

• Custom orders

• Pre-order items

• Earrings (for hygiene reasons)

• Sale items

For all other items, you may return them within 14 days of receiving your order, provided they are unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

Once we receive your return, our team will conduct a quality assessment. If the item is found to be damaged or worn, we will not be able to issue a refund. Refunds are processed within 14 business days.

To exchange an item, please email info@janedijewels.com. If the replacement item is in stock, it will be shipped within 1-3 business days after we receive your returned item. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

 

Help my package is lost or stolen, what can I do?

• If you selected insured shipping, contact us at info@janedijewels.com, and we will initiate an investigation. If your package is not recovered, we will issue a refund or send a replacement.

• If you selected standard shipping, we unfortunately cannot issue a refund or replacement for lost or stolen items.

• Please note: We are not responsible for any delays caused by postal or courier services. Once your package has been handed over to the carrier, shipping times are beyond our control.



I have to pay taxes, what can I do?

We are not responsible for import duties, taxes, or customs fees. These charges vary by country and are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please check with your local customs office for more information.


Can I design something that is not on your website?

My items came in damaged, what can I do?

We offer a 60-day warranty on all jewelry. If your item arrives damaged or develops a defect within this period, please contact info@janedijewels.com with your order number and photos of the damage.

Exclusions: General wear, abuse, and plating fading are not covered.

 

What is the lifetime guarantee means for moissanite jewelry?

We offer a one-year repair or replacement guarantee if you have any defects. Please email info@janedijewels.com, and we will work to resolve the issue.
